The Last of August by Brittany Cavallaro

I wasn’t even planning on finishing this series but I picked this book on a whim and I liked it way more than book one.
The first half is where I’ve had the most fun, but when the action began to unfold towards the end I was disengaged because it was so poorly executed and the events were so ridiculous and far fetched that I couldn’t take any of it seriously.
I think what kept me going was the dynamic between Charlotte and Jamie, it left me so confused but hooked. I do not understand anything about this relationship and I don’t understand anything about Charlotte but I’m having a great time reading about it.
Might fuck around and read the next one. Who knows.
