Wait for Dusk by Jocelynn Drake

5.0

Another fantastic book by Jocelyn Drake. You never fail to please. Your "Dark Days" novels are superb and never fail to keep my undivided attention.

In Wait for Dusk, Mira is faced with the task of eradicating every Naturi from Budapest. However, this task is not nearly as easy to accomplish with the hit on her head. Someone is determined to kill her along with her companions, and it's everything she can do to keep them safe.

Meanwhile, there's trouble brewing between Mira and Danaus when a human woman comes to Danaus begging for her life and freedom of the nightwalker Veyron. Mira refuses to aid her, but Danaus is determined to be her savior. Will a human woman be the permanent rift between them both?

I liked seeing new alliances form and Mira's growth I her powers. Though I'd prefer it if she weren't being forced by her Devil-of-a-Father to utilize said powers like she does.

Mira has grown so much as a person and guardian to those who she has sworn to protect. And at times, even to those not under her protection. I cat wait to see how relationships progress and to witness the final battle between the Naturi and Nightwalkers/every other supernatural creature that doesn't want to die by Naturi hands.
