I genuinely can't tell if I liked this book or am repulsed by it. A bit of both, I suppose. I still couldn't explain the plot to anyone (what even was it?? All I could come up with was : medieval) Was there some kind of metaphorical meaning to it that flew over my head?? Why...just whyy was this book even written, Ina is literally a sleep paralysis DEMONN get her and Jude the hell away from me.

Thinking about buying another copy just to burn it, no hate to the author but this book did a bit too well of a job in ensuring I'll never have another moment of peace without the grape scene flashing in the back of my eyelids.

....was the point of this book to not like it? It disgusted me but doesn't that mean the author succeeded in what they were doing? It was good in the way I wanted to claw my eyes out, was that the purpose??(I think I read that the book is satire?? I hope so)
