i actually liked this book wayy more than i expected to! i genuinely went into this thinking it would be cringe, but i was pleasantly surprised by how entertained i was, i stayed up until 2:00am to finish reading it when i have work in the morning which i actually don’t usually do.
i think the characters are actually really intriguing and i like that both kian and harper are complex characters. also! i really like that they don’t fall into that mm romance trope of “small submissive feminine man x big dominant manly man”
i’ve seen a few people mention they don’t like the age gap which is kind of ridiculous to me because the young character is 25 and the older one is 34 like ??? that’s only a nine year gap between two solidly adult people. if that makes you uncomfortable don’t read it but don’t let those reviews scare you off because it’s nothing crazy!
