To start, yes, this book is completely predictable and a little slow. However, it's such a great feel-good read that gave me the exact breath of fresh air I needed while taking a break from my usual thrillers. I loved the characters and STEM references, although I would love more of STEM talk from Jess. A familiar read that hit the spot.
