Sarah, Plain and Tall by Patricia MacLachlan

5.0

I remember reading this in Elementary school and recently decided to read the whole series after re-watching the Hallmark movies earlier this week. Sarah, Plain and Tall is a great short story. It’s actually based on a true event in the author’s family history. A quick and easy read that those young and old can enjoy. Also, up until I requested these books from my local library I had no clue that there were two more books after Caleb’s Story. We only read the first book in school and since Hallmark only made three movies I guess I just always assumed that’s all there was. I’m quit excited to see what the last two are about. This is definitely a book I recommend to everyone.
