Wonderful Worldbuilding

It took me oh so long to read this due to a lot of things in my personal life being way not alright but now that I've finally finished it I don't regret having it be the book that I snuck a few pages of at a time over a few weeks. I don't know anything about Final Fantasy so I can't comment on this being a love letter to it or anything like that but I can say it's very well done fantasy with some first class worldbuilding and if you've ever seen a review from me before then you I'm sucker for that. Sykes has really outdone himself here.

This book literally checks all the boxes for me. The character development is perfectly executed, the magic system is well crafted, and the worldbuilding completely amazing. I'm not a professional reviewer by any means but this damn good epic fantasy. I can't wait for the next book.
