THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY was just what I needed right now since I haven't had much luck with what I've been reading lately.
I absolutely loved everything about this book. The characters, the writing and the plot. I really liked that not everything was happily ever after, and that Belly didn't always get her way. My favorite of Beck's boys was Jeremiah - he just seemed to be an all around great guy!
Han's writing was also very enjoyable. It was easy to read and flowed nicely, it was a page-turner and I finished the last half of the book in one sitting. I highly recommend THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY to anyone who's in a reading slump or just want a great contemporary book to read.
One thing I wish was a bigger part of the book was Belly's mom and Susannah (but I do understand why they weren't). I'm so happy I finally got around to reading THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY, because it was as good as the hype says.
