The Key to Rondo by Emily Rodda

3.0

Careful, responsible Leo inherits an amazing music box from his batty Aunt, which comes with three rules: never wind it more than three times; never move it while it's playing, and never close the lid until the music has stopped. Because he's careful and responsible, Leo obeys these rules. Right up until his irritating cousin Mimi comes for a visit and starts breaking rules left, right and center.

Clever and enjoyable. Glad I read it, and I'm planning on recommending it to my child.
