Rafael by Laurell K. Hamilton
4.0

If you've made it this far into Anita Blake, you know what to expect from LKH. This book felt too short and I disliked that the ending was like "and cut!" - I was hoping there'd be another scene where Anita talks with Jean-Claude about it all (more J-C insights again pleeeaaase). But I'm very happy to get more rodere on screen! I've always loved Rafael and was happy to see more of the wererat culture that they've been able to maintain. I liked that parts from Obsidian Butterfly was brought back into focus again, and I liked the wrap up with the Master of Beasts.
