The Torn Up Marriage by Caroline Roberts
4.0
well plotted and heart wrenching read. I could feel every moment of Kate's heartbreak, rejection and sadness over the disintegration of her marriage and her family. I only wish she experienced a bit more happiness in Michaels absence. Michael was a wanker and fool and deserved to feel desperate, having given up his family for what amounted to a fling - author captured the notion that most all marriages, relationships have highs and lows, that the real courage comes in working through things.
but if a spoiler - I love that the author stressed on the point that while their marriage would never be what it once was, it was possible it would be something more and better.
