Mercy by Sara Cate

5.0

WOW! Sara Cate never fails to take the traditionally taboo and make it so deep and perfect that it’s just “normal” and natural. Every single time I read a Salacious Player’s Club book, I find out something new about myself, and we can all learn something from this one. Beau and Maggie are so perfectly flawed that they might be the most relatable characters I’ve ever read. Learning all over again that it’s ok to love yourself and flaunt your sexuality and to let go of your masculinity and that doing all of those things can feel so good was the exact story I needed to read this year. Even if you’re not into the Dom/Sub plot, there are so many important lessons that it never hurts to relearn. Cate consistently tries to accurately portray The Lifestyle and I have immense respect for that alone! These characters have chemistry flying off the pages and the story is so well written that you forget you’re not there with them. Once again, Sara Cate has stolen my heart and my breath with an impeccably written love story about two lost people wanting to find their missing link. I can’t recommend this book enough!
