She and her friends will need to solve the mystery behind the disappearance of several magical items in order to save the kingdom and triumph over evil again. A complicated world with interesting magical gadgets will make this series appeal to fantasy readers. Less skilled readers will struggle with the complexities. It also helps to have read the first book before tackling this one.
