That was a seriously intense read. I'm almost glad it wasn't longer because I'm not sure I could have handled any more suspense or nerve-wracking moments! The protagonist was very relatable (mostly). The antagonist was also well written. The unsettling feeling creeps up gradually, then slaps you across the face with spine-chilling speed. My heart raced along with Ann's.
