Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult

5.0

Jodi Picoult has been a long time favorite author of mine. She does a great job of reeling you in right from the start and this book was no different! This book is about a labor & delivery nurse of 20 years being accused of murder by a white supremacist. It takes you through the situation through the eyes of the three main characters. Ruth (the African American nurse), Kennedy (Ruth’s public defender), and Turk (the white supremacist). I always love Jodi Picoult’s books because they make me think and this one stayed with me for days. A lot of what happens in the book is going on across the country right now and really does make you think twice about the way people are treated daily.
