The Day is Dark by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir

3.0

I give this one 3.5 stars. What is most captivating is the way in which Greenland is almost a character in the tale. Sigurdardottir does a nice job of educating her reader on the complex history of Eastern Greenland and its indigenous peoples without being heavy-handed. A well-spun tale.
