The Summer of '98: A Qb Bad Boy Novel by Tay Marley

5.0

I was so excited to read this book after finding out it was going to be published because I loved The QB Bad Boy and Me SO MUCH and this book did not disappoint. Just reading about Ellie and Leroy’s relationship from the first time they met and how it evolved throughout Ellie’s pregnancy and becoming parents was such a fairytale and made me want to cry at how supportive Leroy was. This was different than any of the books I’ve read because it didn’t involve a typical romance trope, which I thought was so cool and I also liked that Tay Marley included some characters from the first book in this one because it connected the stories so well. I seriously hope more of her books get published, particularly in this series, because I just crave more and her style is so fantastic that I just don’t think I couldn’t not love any book she writes.
