It was a little like being dropped into a speeding car in the beginning 2 chapters.
It was #10 in a series so I am assuming that's the reason.
Otherwise it was just to short. I mostly got it for the narrator. So I'm not sure I'll track more of this author down unless I find it on sale etc.
