Um. What the heck. I hate that I love this book so much. -0.25 stars for killing off Liam (because he was the best character and no one can change my mind and I almost lost it when he died) and -0.25 for the explicit intimate scenes instead of just talking about their feelings (the night of that party near the end where Violet saw he was literally mourning??? Why couldn’t they just have had a heart to heart omg). But anyway I’m shocked at how much I genuinely enjoyed this book. The world building was amazing and I loved everything except for what I mentioned above. What a way to start my year of reading.
