The Exiled Queen by Cinda Williams Chima
5.0

Excellent! Most excellent! If you enjoyed The Demon King, you will most definitely enjoy The Exiled Queen! (The spoiler-y stuff for the Demon King has been removed.)

Princess Raisa ana'Marianna
Spoilerhas just barely escaped the forbidden matrimony with Micah Bayar and
is hoping to find protection within the walls of Oden's Ford, the best school in the seven realms for soldiers and wizards. At the same time, Han Alister
Spoiler, last surviving heir (outside of the royal family) to Alger Waterlow, the Demon King,
is on his way to Oden's Ford with Dancer to study wizardry. Both Raisa, once again disguised as Rebecca Morley, and Han must survive the dangerous journey from the fells to Oden's Ford. Once there, Raisa is separated from Mystwerk, the wizard's side of campus, by a river.
SpoilerThis river is the only barrier from being discovered by Micah Bayar.
Han's second chance at life is hindered when he runs into Micah at Oden's Ford and learns that he shares both a dormitory and all of his classes with him. When Micah keeps making subtle but deadly attempts on Han's life, he has to learn to fight back, not as Cuffs as he is accustomed, but as Han Allister; Han has to learn how to fight by the bluebloods' rules.

This book is fantastic and ends with the wickedest cliffhanger. September can't get here soon enough!
