When He's Dark by Suzanne Wright
3.0

Strong character development: No

Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

This is the first book in the Olympus Pride series, it follows Bree and Alex. Bree is a Pallas Cat shifter and Alex is a Wolverine shifter, who also happens to be the cousin or Bree's fated mated. However her fated mate has rejected the bond and left the pack, however Bree is not too worried as she has been obsessed with Alex since she was a teenager, lucky for her, he feels the same.

After years of back and forth they finally cross the line and decide to act on their attention for each other. What they don't know is that whilst Bree's fated mate doesn't want the bond he has still kept a close eye on her this whole time, and seeing her start a relationship with someone else is enough to bring him out the dark.

Suzanne writes some of the best spice, and I always really enjoy her shifter romances, I enjoy how she ties in her other series and the cameos from previous characters.
Whilst this wasn't my favourite one of her shifter romances I did enjoy it, I was intrigued by the storyline and of course, who doesn't love a possessive male!
