Fabricating Jada by Vanessa Marie

5.0

DISCLAIMER: I received an e-ARC of this book (via Alexis Noelle and the author) in exchange for honest review.

Have you ever admired someone because of the work they do? Ever had a dream to learn their methods because they inspire you to move forward with your dream? Well, that's what this book is about, with a generous amount of bickering and bantering between two characters who are extremely attracted to each other.

Jada love fabricating and designing with metal. The thing is, she is always working and giving more than 70% of her paycheck to her father's medical bills. Her family lives in a trailer park and on top of that, she tends to get defensive and is quite independent.

Her dream? To learn from the best. And his name is Jesse Valentine. That dream is about to come true. However, Jesse is a massive jerk and has figured out how to push Jada's buttons. Also, no one stands up to Jesse. But Jada does and she has a comeback for everything he says.

The author adds a new spark of sweet (and steamy) to romance. The romance cooks slowly. Every time you think it will start, the story takes a turn in a slightly different direction. You sit, waiting for something to happen, and it does, but not for a long time.

I loved how the story did not consist of constant sex scenes. Innuendos were given left and right, but that had me laughing so hard that I could barely breathe. Oh, trust me, there was sex, but it was worth the wait. A great weekend read for anyone who likes bad-ass female characters who are awesome with cars and mechanics. 5 Stars.
