A Wicked Kind of Husband by Mia Vincy
5.0
I read some reviews that said, just because there is talk of infidelity or mention of OW they find this one to be bad, they would not pass that, and it made me very curious to read it, because other people said that that had not been a problem to them, and that it was actually a very good book, and I did, and here I am telling you that this book was beautifully written, full of funny banter between two amazing main characters, there was grieving, and so much pain, witty talk, fun and love.
Spoilers ahead*
Although Joshua had affairs with married women(3-4 women in almost 3 years) while being married to Cassandra, they didn't know each other at all, it was a marriage of name only, and in fact they did not even recognize each other on their first real meeting in a street by mere chance, and from that instant he never ever had anything to do with other women, he did not look, nor flirted with OW, when he met her at last, they were all in it, there was no pain for her to suffer because they didn't have any kind of relationship before, also yes her dad had a mistress, and I'm not saying it wasn't bad, but there were grave issues in that family, and he had a serious depression that made him kill himself, there was no pain for her mother to suffer, because she became a drug addict and was also very depressed and she became a reclusive almost she paid no attention to her family after her son died, even with all this many many problems, there was this amazing connection between Cassandra and Joshua, and I'm very glad I read it myself, those reviews I read where very childish, I also hate cheating and infidelity, who doesn't? But there was none in the actual book, just talk about what happened in the past. You won't regret reading this amazing story
