Whoa!   Hard to say much about this book without spoilers, though I will note that if you reach about halfway, either pause reading there or expect that you may be unable to put the book down until you finish it.  But seriously, check out the content warnings (spoilers in them but this book is not going to be easy for many people)

A lot of big plots come to a boil in this book and the results are... violent.  I am really glad that we got many scenes of preparation but also scenes of panicked/grim "what can you do in 5 minutes" disaster coping.  I like seeing the protagonists being smart and doing their jobs well, but I also like the sensation of "this is not something you can really prepare for" to really sell the scale of it all.
