After The Silent Patient, this book fell a bit flat. I liked the setting and the themes of Greek mythology (and even Tennyson!), but the main character’s choices were… questionable throughout. It also felt really unrealistic, in the sense of what would have been appropriate for a therapist (and police) to do. I didn’t see the twist at the end coming… but I didn’t like it. It made me feel cheap and icky. I’m not sure if I’ll be picking up The Fury.
