Ms Lackey, you were one of my absolute favorite authors. You still are. But this book did not work. I want to say that it was poorly edited. There are errors in timing that I caught. But the errors came from the source and that the editors are not the geeks I am--well that's not their fault.
*sniff*
I still spend wonderful times rereading the older trilogies, but, well, it's time to wave goodbye to Valdemar.
If you write another trilogy set in this wonderful world that you created--please, please make it worthy of you.
