an office-speculative satire-horror-comedy novel told through Slack transcripts of a PR firm in NY. warmly absurd. fucking. loved it. no words. 5/5 . I'm a fan—Digital-age Kafkaesque nightmare.
I suppose I have a different definition of what can be considered 'timeless' than others who have brought up the slack aspect of the novel as criticism. Still, I think the author captured internet discourse and corporate culture well, without being too on the nose about it. the culture is not going anywhere, so I don't think this book will age anytime soon.
