The Holly Gibney books have historically been quite good, but something about this one just didn't excite me. This novel had two bad guys with two separate agendas that end up together in the end for the finale so that Holly must deal with them both.
I think I was hoping for a twist, or more of a struggle, or a reason to care about catching the bad guys - but I never became emotionally invested enough, and it was sort of a struggle for me to stay committed to reading this one.
If you're a fan of Stephen King and the Holly series, this one isn't the worst way to spend some time - but the others were far more exciting.
