Eternal Knight by Victoria Sue
5.0
I received an ARC copy of Eternal Knight by Victoria Sue.
I'm not jousting when I say book 4 of the Guardians of Camelot series had me hanging on until the very end. I'm a fan of the Camelot Universe and this version with Lancelot (Lance) and Merlin (Mel) had my heart embracing their reality.
A battle between Light and Dark started in Merlin's lifetime setting his plan of saving the world with the Wizard's chosen band of Knights. Merlin cast a spell setting the game pieces in play that have the Knights living an immortal life until they are joined with the other half of their soul. Lance, Kay, Lucan, Gawain and Ali find themselves in the 21st century still fighting the Darkness while protecting humans from the evil serving an enemy vow to bring this reality down on its knees.
Eternal Knight is the 4th and final book of the series. It's the endgame of the war between Light and Dark where Merlin's faith in his Knights will either end Morgan's reign or leave the world as her new playground. Gawain found his other half in Galahad and with the final battle in play the Knights with their Tresors take their place on the battlefield. Gawain is struggling with his inner demon that's fueling Galahad's fear of being trapped as Morgan's power source for the rest of eternity.
I love this series and inhaled the Knight's journey to finding their Tresors. They each had their own inner battles to fight but had all come together to face Morgan. I won't spoil the ending but as far as the ending goes it was an absolutely enchanting ending. I'm sure if Mel had a movie quote to share it would probably be to Lance "You complete me." Because of course, Mel would have a movie quote for every situation.
Thank you Victoria Sue for sharing this sexy twist of Camelot and its Knights of Man-Love.
