Thank you to S. Massery and Chaotic Creatives for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

S. Massery, you cannot, I repeat, you CANNOT, do this to me. That ending???? I finished this late at night in bed, and I ended up just laying there staring at the ceiling because I couldn't believe it ended like that. I'm going to pray that man lives, because he can't die, right? RIGHT??

Ok, about the rest of the book. This is a spinoff from the Sterling Fall series, but I haven't read that and was just fine. You get enough back story to not be confused. But if you don't want the ending of that series spoiled, read it first. What you should read first, however, is the prequel, Terror. I'm not sure where you can access it, but I'd highly recommend reading it if you can.

The relationship between the FMC and the three guys, I don't know how it's going to play out. I definitely saw the one relationship coming, and what we've gotten so far is hot. The other, oh man do they have a complicated back story. We see her reactions to him changing throughout the book though. And as for the last guy. Well, I don't know how he's going to play into the picture after this book. I'm sure S. Massery will work it out, so I'm going to trust her, but I'm not happy with him right now.

Nemesis is a dark, why choose romance that has mystery, tension, a bad ass FMC, three very different men, and some spicy scenes (with more to come I'm sure). And it definitely leaves you on a cliffhanger desperate to know what happens. But check the trigger warnings as both Terror and Nemesis heavily talk about SA and human trafficking.
