Disappointing
I enjoy Bella Forrest’s Gender Game series and recently started the Girl Who Dared to Think series. I couldn’t click with the Shade of Vampire series and unfortunately this one doesn’t work for me either. I found the mystery almost non-existent and the action sequences awkward. Bella’s strength is her characterisation and dialogue, which worked well here, but I was disappointed that I worked out the mystery so quickly. I won’t be continuing, which is a shame.
