Aunt Dimity and the Buried Treasure by Nancy Atherton
4.0
3.5 stars.
All the charm of the Dimity series is here: the quaint, close-knit village of quirky and colorful characters, the loving families, cozy conversations with a wise, but not all-knowing Dimity, and the attention to detail that, for the most part, adds a certain realism to the stretching-reality plotline.
Yet, there were a couple of aspects that hold me back from fully loving the story: Too much gossip, (as well as praise of that uncommendable habit), and that all the characters are white Christains.
