Adrian was everything you want in an alpha: steady, protective, and emotionally aware. Colt and Dante, on the other hand, had me raising an eyebrow. They wanted nothing to do with her—until suddenly they did. The turnaround felt a little abrupt, but it didn’t take away from the overall tension and payoff. Jesse brought a softer layer to the story, adding a sweet friends-to-lovers dynamic that balanced out the pack’s more dominant personalities. His quiet loyalty to Bridget gave the story a deeper emotional pull.
Not to be overlooked is our amazing FMC, Bridget. Life really beat her up, but somehow she kept a smile on her face and continued to give to others. Her strength wasn’t loud, but it was constant—and that made it impossible not to admire her.

And let’s not ignore the serotonin hit from seeing familiar faces from all four previous books. Wright knows exactly how to play to our reader hearts—and maybe twist them just a little in the process.
