I much prefer Uketsu’s other book, titled “Strange Pictures”, over Strange Houses. Strange Houses mainly explore the architecture layout of a house inhabited by a family of three (parents and a child). The house layout seemingly looks normal enough, until you examine closer and notice that there’s something odd about the layout of the house. The strangeness of the house layout makes the protagonist and his/her friend theorize that there may be a dark conspiracy at hand involving the inhabitants of the house, one that features murdering its guests.
