Honestly I definitely was upset with this book. I had such high hopes and it was definitely rough in some portions of the book. First I had a hard time getting into it and then I felt like it was really long for no reason. It was long but I still didn’t get a lot out of it. The characters did have some growth, hazel with the most but I wish it was all flushed out a little more. There was communication but it was one page of dialogue and then it was over and I didn’t enjoy that aspect. I wish we really got to see the characters talk through everything. I also feel like she was trying with soooo many ideas that some of them kinda just fell flat. Like we never circled back to Emilie. We heard the outcome, but never got the real details of it. I just wanted more from the book especially because it was longer and I just didn’t get that. It was okay, but definitely not my favorite and I think there are much better books to read out there.
