It would probably take a poet to write an appropriate review for such a beautiful and unique work of true, unadulterated storytelling. I am not at all a poet so I'll just have to say that this book was wonderful. Delaney is a master (masterful master) of words. Even though the story may not end happily, I found myself smiling throughout at the language, dry Irish humor and characterization. Very, very good indeed.
