The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors by Drew Daywalt

5.0

I absolutely love books where the voice is so evident when I'm reading aloud I have no problem morphing into the voices--it makes reading effortless. There is laugh out loud kid humor throughout, and at the end my kids all wanted to play rock, paper, scissors and we did. I saw some reviews on this being pointlessly violent, but um, my kids pretend their toys destroy each other all the time. If that doesn't bother you, then this shouldn't bother you. **And because my grandma thinks "butt" is a dirty word, I feel obligated in declaring that there is one peach with a "fuzzy, little butt" that made my kids burst into giggles.*** :)
