I first read The Handmaid‘s Tale in the 90s. It was instantly one of my favorite books. When Hulu started the mini-series a few years ago, I was totally into it. It was such a surprise to me when Atwood decided to write a sequel to the book so many years later. Well, I gobbled it right up. I guess you could say that I’m kind of a Gilead junkie —just can’t get enough of this terrifying world.
