A Court of Ice and Wind by Meg Xuemei X

More.... just more.

Now that Cass has been stolen by the Sun God Apollo, she has to deal with his brand of crazy along with a healthy (or unhealthy?) dose of Ares. It’s s mixed bag, and one likely to end in the fires of Hades. In between this drama, her mates are desperately searching for her, unknowing that she’s been taken via the slip stream. Guess it’s up to Cass to get herself out.

While this is the main premise of the book, it’s really just the first half. The rest is dedicated to learning more about herself, her roles, along with discovering the means to destroy the Olympian Gods. It’s heady stuff. Unfortunately, with the mass of power Cass is accumulating, it seems the plot is headed for a downturn. Fiction rarely allows for all powerful beings to remain after their appointed tasks are complete, and the situation for Cass is quickly coming to implosion.
