I really am picking up what Julie Murphy is putting down. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't feel as strongly about this companion, but I loved it just as much. This story was just as bold and brilliant feeling as Dumplin'. I will say a few moments are a little preachy, but the message is so needed that I didn't mind at all.
The audiobook is well read, the characters are very clear, and overall another great read full of a new take on familiar characters. I enjoyed switching narrators throughout, and found the plot very relatable.
