The book is a queer retelling of swan lake (as I don't really know the story of that one, I can't say how close it is to the original storyline). I found this book entertaining, but not overwehelmingly good. The writing is very rushed in some places (especially the first half), however that did give me the feeling of reading a fairy tale. The original texts there are also often very short and fast. I liked the storyline, the characters were nice but I was not overly invested in them.
Overall, a quick read and I'd recommend it if you like fairy tales but with more diverse and queer characters than in original stories!
