Very meh. While there was some plot there, it was mostly blabber. The incapable Warden Mora from Miami had a very unsatisfying story arc that made very little sense. She potentially could have had great growth and now it was cut off at the knees making her into an unhinged villain.

Gabriella was not as interesting as author intended her to be and Jorik while actually a solid character, got to portray his good side too little (I mean, not predestined computer selection, but his choice, then holding onto his principles during Hive integration just because of her, and when all comes crashing down is the only one who doesn’t lie to himself about what’s happening). There’s only the miscommunication that’s working against him.
