The Companion by E.E. Ottoman

O M GEEE!! This freaking book.
This is a steamy American 19th century historical romance between two trans women and one trans man. And I am obsessed! Despite their individual hardships, these three manage to come together and curate a safe space for them to heal and live their lives without outsiders.

Madeline is in need of a break from everything when she is offered an escape. Victor opens his home to Madeline and the two immediately hit it off. During Madeline's stay, she meets Audrey (Victor's neighbor) and Madeline sets her sights on Audrey. There's only one problem, Madeline hasn't even kissed anyone. Victor enlists his help and guides her. Madeline ends up falling for the both of them and doesn't want to pick - what's great is they don't want her to pick either.

Madeline is the sweetest baby angel, I lover her so much.

Victor is spicy and knows how to make your knees buckles.
"You need to tell me with your words."

Audrey is pure light, she literally frolics and gathers mushrooms. Audrey is spicy too!!
"Did I tell you you could touch yourself?"

All vibes, this book was amazing!!
