Quicksilver by Callie Hart

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5)

Quicksilver was a fantastic read that kept me hooked from start to finish. The characters were well-developed and compelling, with personalities that felt real and dynamic. The pacing was strong, balancing action, tension, and quieter moments without ever feeling slow. The world-building was immersive—detailed enough to feel rich and lived-in but never overwhelming.

That said, there were moments where I wanted more—certain plot points felt like they could have been expanded on, and some character arcs felt slightly rushed. There were emotional beats and conflicts that had the potential to hit even harder if they had been given just a little more time to develop. While the story was engaging, I occasionally found myself wishing for deeper exploration of relationships or backstory elements that were only briefly touched upon. Still, despite these minor drawbacks, the book delivered an exciting and satisfying experience, leaving me eager for more from this world!
