As a fellow English nerd who is obsessed with Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, I ate this up. This is probably one of my favorite Frankenstein retellings to date. I felt like Kiersten White really built things up for the reader before ripping the curtain away from our eyes to reveal the sinister depravity of Victor Frankenstein. And I loved every minute, even when things were dark and morose. Truly such a great retelling of the classic Frankenstein story!
