Wow just wow , 😮 this book was honestly mind blowing , I’m not a US citizen but I’m always fascinated with reading books that talk about the history and the problems of minorities in the US.
This book talking about the movement of Japanese People into Internment camps during World War II and honestly it opened my mind to a lot of things and I honestly think everyone should read this book especially American citizens because I realized that a lot of America’s history gets censored so uplifting books like these are so necessary to hear other people’s experiences and stories.
I also recommend a similar book as well called Displacement by Kiku Hughes which also talks about the internment camps and the trauma that came with those experiences.
