I wanted to like this more than I did. In part I think that’s because the description of the book was misleading causing me to expect one type of story and get something else.  Parts of the story really made me think but I I felt at times it was really bogged down in giving out facts about arctic exploration that didn’t add to the story. At the end I just didn’t find myself very invested in the outcome.
