At this point, I might be completely biased when it comes to Rebecca Yarros because I haven’t found a single book of hers I didn’t absolutely adore.
This one is no different. It’s got all the makings of a perfect romance: a tortured hero, small-town charm, slow-burn tension, and of course, that signature military background that Yarros does so well. The emotions are raw, the story is heartfelt, and it delivers all the gushy feels I was hoping for.
If you’re into tropes that make you swoon and characters that stay with you, this is a must-read!
