I have never read a marriage in trouble book, and I was very nervous about how I’d feel about it because I generally do not like second chance romance. I loved this though! Like really loved it! I was laughing throughout because Lyssa is so funny. I loved Gavin, he was so endearing, and watching him work to save his marriage made me believe in love again. Thea was also great. I understand why she was at the end of her rope. I was also mad at both of them for putting themselves in the position they found their marriage in. But I also get it. Lyssa’s writing is so great I was engaged the entire time, totally sucked into the story. I buddy read this, and am pretty sure I was supposed to slow down a bit, but you could not pry this book away from me! The bromance book club was beyond fun also! I can’t wait to see more of them in the rest of the series!
