Me: Elton John Official Autobiography by Elton John

I love Elton John, and I watched and loved Rocketman, so I assumed I would love this.
I was wrong.
The book is well written, but I think for me, the main problem was all the names. Obviously it's important when writing a memoir to mention all the people who helped get you to where you are now. The problem is, they meant nothing to me. I didn't recognize 90% of the names that were mentioned. Being born in 1980, I have no idea what the London/UK music scene was like in the late 60’s early 70's.
In the end, I decided to move on. I feel like I got the gist of Elton's story after watching Rocketman, so I have no regrets in not finishing this.
